Sandrine Holt (born Sandrine ho) was born on the 19th of November, 1972, in London. She is a daughter of Chinese and French parents. The family relocated to Toronto Canada when she was five years old which has been her home ever since. She was a catwalk model in Paris and then became an actor. Her first film role was Annuka In Black Robe (1991). As a result of her performance, she received an nomination for the Genie Award - the Canadian Oscar. The film Rapa Nui Rise in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas and Dance with the Murderer followed and she also made guest performances on Poltergeist The Uncanny Force and Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension. She played a significant role of John Woo's The Thief for 22 episodes. The film Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation followed in 2004, and is currently available on DVDVHS along with Resident Evil Apocalypse. The first part of her series was 24 Twenty Four. Holt began her acting career by playing minor guest roles as well as part-time roles in the series. The year 2013 was the first time she was cast in the role of Hostages as the main character Hostages and was cast as a supporting character on the Netflix series House of Cards. She played Julie Han, in the US remake The Returned (2015) and she was cast in the role of Bethany Exner.
