Sadie Amara Calvano is an actress from America who has garnered fame by playing Violet Plunkett in the CBS sitcom "Mom". Calvano is from California, and was interested at first in competitive gymnastics. She later chose to become an actor. Her screen debut was in the 2010 episode of the CBS show 'NCIS. The biographical crime drama movie J Edgar was her big screen debut just a year following. In subsequent years, she established herself among the top actors of today's young. She was nominated in the year 2011 for an Young Artist Award in the category of Best Performance for Young Actresses between 11 and 15 because of her performance on NCIS. In 2013, for an appearance in Disney XD's 'Kickin' It' comedy series and received a second nomination for the Young Artist Award. Calvano was a part of Mom's initial three seasons. She also made several guest appearances throughout the fourth. In 2015, her role in 'Mom" earned her an award called the Gracie Allen Award as Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star.
